Nike, as we all know and love, have created a new way to get women jumping and lunging into fitness! With a tour that launched world wide and made its way to Dubai, it was a pleasure as one of the Bospasa team members to go and experience the challenge ahead! They have just finished their final leg of the tour in which 1000’s of women came down to join in the training experience – sad to say I was home in the UK when this one happened but congrats to all the women involved!
Our session started bright and early on a Friday morning (Which for a little bit of trivia is Dubai’s weekend!) myself and a fellow fitness instructor/blogger made our way down to the gorgeous Al Manzil Hotel Downtown Dubai for the start of what was actually a gruelling session! Nothing better than waking up to a sweaty intense circuit class…right!?
The only female professional player (tennis) in the UAE, Fatma Al Nabhani, was front row and centre next to myself and Lauren (Our Bospasa team). What it meant was that all cameras were pointing towards us, great for motivation to make sure you kept going…not so great for the look! But fitness isn’t about that anyway, the uglier you look – the harder you’ve worked, something we (I hope!) successfully accomplished.
A 45 minutes session consisting of everything from low impact movements, weights, full body exercises and dynamic stretches. The trainers were awesome, truly motivating which is what you want from a personal/group trainer and in fantastic shape themselves. The event was successfully put on by Cosmopolitan Middle East and we had every Yogi, Food blogger and Fitness fanatic from the UAE present! It always makes for such a great event when you are surrounded by people that love and really believe in the benefits of being healthy and fit, all a true inspiration to me.
The Nike workout was followed by a selection of yummy and, you guessed it, healthy food to recuperate with and go away feeling tired but proud! It’s incredible the natural high you get from exercising and I know that may sound like i’m preaching to the choir but honestly it’s my natural drug and I love it! Thank you Nike for such a great day.
Our blog post for event is up on the Bospasa website where you can also treat yourself in a different kind of way with access to thousands of spas, treatments and services across the UAE, have a look! http://www.bospasa.com/
